Lumbres Arenal Villa - La Fortuna

The hotel is surrounded by nature, offering beautiful views of the Arenal. The location is close to the hanging bridges park and natural hot springs. The warm welcome from the owners and opportunity to milk cows was a highlight. A top stay in Costa Rica.

lumbres arenal villa was a delightful surprise in la fortuna. the breathtaking view of arenal and the property exceeded my expectations. the sunrise from the pool area was simply stunning. the included costa rican breakfast was delicious and the staff was incredibly kind.

On a more positive note, the convenience of being able to park the car right next to the room was appreciated. the nearby grill restaurant was excellent, providing some much-needed relief from the disappointing dining options in the area. the breakfast provided was satisfactory and the wifi worked well, even in the room. the hotel's location was also advantageous, as it was close to the free hot springs and a short drive from the Arenal National Park. despite the negative aspects of the stay, the hotel's affordable rates and convenient location made it a decent choice for a New Year's getaway.

The room was infested with ants and other insects, which made for a very uncomfortable stay. the doors were not properly sealed, allowing the bugs to easily enter.

The owner was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast they served was delicious and satisfying. We loved the convenience of having a kitchenette in our room. The view from our terrace overlooking the volcano was amazing. The hotel itself was lush and green, filled with beautiful birds. Plus, the pool and pool table added some extra fun to our stay. Despite a few minor inconveniences like ants and a small kitchen, overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for a unique and authentic experience.

We had a wonderful stay at Lumbres Arenal Villa. The surroundings were so peaceful and filled with nature, making us feel like we were tucked away from the busyness of the outside world. The cozy rooms provided a comfortable retreat after our adventures in Arenal/La Fortuna. And the breakfast was delicious, starting our days off on a high note.

Although the beds were a little uncomfortable and the AC wasn't very strong, these minor drawbacks didn't overshadow the overall positive experience we had at Lumbres Arenal Villa. We enjoyed the smaller amount of guests, creating a more intimate and relaxing atmosphere.

The beds were clean and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The room was spacious and provided ample space for our belongings. The homemade breakfast was amazing, with delicious dishes that left us satisfied. Despite the slight inconvenience of a longer drive to downtown La Fortuna, the peaceful location away from the crowds was a welcome retreat. I highly recommend this hotel for a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The value for money at Lumbres Arenal was fantastic. We got a beautiful room with a amazing view of the Arenal volcano. The location was perfect, with easy access to La Fortuna, Arenal National Park, and other attractions.

had a great time in la fortuna! lumbres arenal villa was a pleasant surprise. delicious homemade breakfast, comfy beds, and spacious rooms. loved the laid-back atmosphere, beautiful views of arenal and the farm animals. carlos was super friendly and i even got to milk cows! a must-stay in costa rica.

wifi didn't connect

The view of the nearby volcano was breathtaking and definitely a highlight of our stay. the property's location on a farm allowed us to enjoy the sights and sounds of the local wildlife, which was a unique experience. the friendly and accommodating hosts made us feel welcome throughout our visit.

The poorly maintained track leading to the rooms, which made it a bit difficult to navigate. Another disappointment was the unreliable Wi-Fi and TV reception in our room, although it seemed to have been fixed on our last day.

My recent stay at Lumbres Arenal was nice. The location was amazing, with fine views right from the backyard.
